Coupon is a voucher entitling the holder to a discount off a particular product. They entice customers to build loyalty with a specific company or product. In order to create different coupons follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your partner account and switch to the old interface.
2. Navigate to the App Store.
3. Find Coupons among other apps, Install it and open the Settings.
4. You'll see the list of existing coupons, you can edit and manage them. To create one, click +Add new button.
5. Insert the Coupon name that is visible to you and the Coupon code that you'll share with your customers. Choose the Coupon type and proceed with the creation.
Discount: enables your customers to reduce the total order price by a percent or fixed amount.
Free Delivery: grants free delivery or reduces the delivery price.
Sales: activates an already created sale with a coupon code.
For all coupon types, you'll need to fill out the following:
Firstly, you'll choose the store where you want to apply the coupon.
Activate Multiple if you want the coupon to be reusable by the same user.
Quantity of coupons you're ready to provide (e.g. The coupon is active for the first 50 buyers)
Insert the Minimum Order Amount in $ and the coupon will be active for orders with the total price indicated here (at least).
The coupon period, meaning the start and end dates of when the coupon works.
Coupon status, so that you are able to deactivate the coupon at any time needed.
Finally, you can choose to grant this coupon automatically to store members, you can activate it for members only, so they have to insert Membership ID when inserting the coupon code, or set the coupon to work for the first order only.
For Discount Coupon type you're going to insert the amount in $ or % by which the total price is going to be reduced.
For Distance Coupon type you'll insert the miles for which you're granting free delivery. If you activate the checkbox, the coupon will work for the distance indicated here.
For Sale Coupon Type you'll choose the existing sale(s) that will activate once the coupon code is inserted.
